Public Safety events are of concern to all Salisbury neighbors so that they can prepare themselves to respond wisely in case there is a threat to their well being. Bullies, tyrants and crooks should not be enabled to keep good folks in the dark on important matters, because the discussion of truth in some things is seen by officials to be outside the bounds of political correctness. That may have been true when you could trust the ones elected to have a good amount of moral intergity, but today the ones who DO have that are looked down on as the noncomformists, and pathetically that may be more true than many care to admit. Let us let the present cultural fawning over political correctness for its own sake take a back seat to truth, just for a short while, as we are engaged in the pursuit of actual happenings of the day, in our very own neighborhood in Maryland.

First I thought I may try to report in a timely manner on things such as home invasions, armed robberies, serious assaults when there are BOLO's involved or the patient is in need of hospitalization.

Second, I thought to report on notable accidents and incidents involving buses, multiple cars or large trucks, traffic tie-ups and hazmat situations as well as hostage taking situations, and foot and car pursuits, etc.

Most fires are out so fast because of the wonderful professionalism of our dear firemen, that there is very little to be gained by giving notice of them unless it happens to be a very large uncontrolled situation. There will be no specific information given about individuals, addresses, or medical conditiions except generally. I'll try to do this if the good Lord gives me the time for it. To me it seems that there is room for something like this as there is no scanner info on Radio Reference for those who can't use a scanner in this area. Comments are welcome.

Climate Change- Will It Affect You?

Much has been discussed about the apparent reality of climate change. Do you think that it will affect you in your lifetime? The Bible states "There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors". Do you feel that that is a timely piece of wisdom, or do you feel that we should not worry about it, do our bit and leave it in God's hands.? Or do you worry that everything is going to pieces and no one seems to be concerned.? There seems to be a big difference in the way folks view the problem. Do you think that folks are just stressing different aspects of a very multifaceted problem, or that folks are entrenched in diabolically different and opposing methods of resolving this problem.
